New Extension

Grimley and Holt School, pride themselves on innovative and modern methods of teaching.  Unfortunately, until recently their ambitious plans had been limited by the size of their beloved Victorian building.  With a pupil body reaching eighty, the school was struggling for quality teaching spaces.

New Access Corridor

Having recently and successfully delivered another education project at Pitmaston Primary, also for Worcestershire County Council, George Law was chosen to deliver the construction solution.  The project included demolishing parts of the existing building which had ceased to be functional and the construction of new buildings to provide a new library, stores, two class rooms and corridor access.  Alterations works were undertaken to provide larger office space, a new reception and entrance along with a much needed and larger staffroom.  Other works included covered and non-covered terraces, disabled access and a new roof to the toilet block together with all associated mechanical and electrical installations and external work.

New Staffroom

The works were carried out to a tight deadline and programmed around the security of the school, whilst taking all measures possible not to disturb the lessons.

New Class Room

The school staff and pupils are delighted with their school and have been busy making it feel like home with fabulous drawings, paintings and work displays.  Feedback given by the client and school states we were a very courteous neighbour and delivered a project to exceptionally high standards.
